And here’s the year in review…
We had a GREAT time at the 2nd Annual CFYC Spiritual Development Retreat…
We studied through the book of Ephesians with Sarah Fallis, Tracy Fitzgerald, Kelli Hughett, Tanya Pirtle, Kathy Pollard, Tami Roberts and Erynn Sprouse. This year we were even fortunate enough to have ASL interpreting by Alice Palstring, Amy Basic and Erynn Sprouse. There were over 100 women in attendance!
There were LOTS of new features introduced this year!
Finer Grounds– No fluff here! These are exegetical studies designed to help you delve into the depths of God’s word. Posted each Tuesday, there is an online version and a printable, PDF format too. Whether you use it in your ladies’ class or your own personal study, you’re sure to grow in your relationship with God through His word. BONUS: Join our Finer Grounds Facebook group and get in on the discussion! Kristy Huntsman is the Finer Grounds Editor.
Ministry of the Month– Formerly called “Missionary of the Month,” this feature has been expanded to include domestic ministries as well. We’ve had the pleasure of featuring works such as the Legacy Family Camp, Queenly Quest magazine and Alma Fredman, a sweet lady doing her best where she is. Each month on the first Friday, watch for a new Ministry of the Month post. Lacy Crowell is the Ministry of the Month Editor.
Let It Overflow Challenge– Get some encouragement to… well… to encourage! Each month on the first Thursday there’s a new challenge to help you figure out how to let your full cup overflow into others’ cups. This year, we’ve illustrated Bible verses to share, encouraged young and old worshippers alike, made scripture-focused centerpieces… and there’s more to come in 2013! Chelli Guthrie is the Let It Overflow Editor.
Fresh Blends– This is our brand new podcast! Erin Wells and Lacy Crowell get together on the first and third Fridays of each month to bring you stories of old turned new. God can take our broken stories, our less-than-wonderful situations and He can give us a new, fresh blend… and isn’t it amazing how He does it? Join Erin and Lacy to hear these stories of renewal. Erin Wells is the Fresh Blends Editor.
Premium Exports– This is a mini-glimpse of what’s happening here at CFYC, but in a printable format (PDF)! Now others can join with us in growing toward God. Each month on the second Friday, we’ll have a new edition of Premium Exports for you to print and share with the ladies in your congregation… your neighbor across the street… your co-workers… everyone! It’s an easy way to help pique other ladies’ interest in learning about God. Ashley Hudson is the Premium Exports Editor. [note: this feature has been on hiatus, but will be starting anew in January]
