Let It Overflow: Most Beautiful Feet Goes To…

September 13, 2012 by Guest Author 1 Comment

Whenever we think of being Christians most likely there are people that were instrumental to bringing us to Christ. Maybe our parents, a grandparent, a Bible class teacher, a preacher, an older woman in the church, the possibilities are endless.

This challenge is to thank those people for giving you the greatest gift of all time: bringing you to the Lord. These “Andrews” in our lives lead us to the Lord through their words and actions, so let’s show a little appreciation.

Feel free to make more than one card. If you are like me, there are quite a few people who have been instrumental in your spiritual walk during different times in your life. Each of them has led you to a deeper understanding and love of Jesus.

How to make a “Beautiful Feet” card:

Step 1

Make a fist and paint the pinky side of your fist with washable paint.

Step 2

Press painted side of your fist onto cover of folded paper.

 Step 3

Paint tip of pinky finger with paint.

Step 4

Press painted pinky finger five times at the end of foot to be toes. Apply more paint if it is needed.

Step 5

Write the second half of Romans 10:15 on the cover next to the “foot.”

Step 6

On the inside write some personal thoughts and memories about how this person influenced your life for Christ.

Step 7 (optional)

Add a foot-themed gift to go along with the card like some funky socks, foot lotion, or even a gift certificate for a pedicure!

We thank people many times during the day for various services they perform, but when’s the last time you thanked the people who used their beautiful feet to bring you the good news? Spend the next two weeks thanking them for loving your soul!

Blessed with many people with beautiful feet in my life,
Chelli Guthrie

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
