For the Mommas

January 25, 2012 by Guest Author 3 Comments

Just how Important is God to our Children? Their Life Depends on It! “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart: … [Read more...]

That’s Contradictory!

January 23, 2012 by Guest Author 4 Comments

Tim Tebow recently stunned the world with an 80 yard touchdown in overtime in the playoffs, yet right after the press conference he was not running around gloating or going to a victory party with his friends. He was talking with a sick girl that he had invited   to the game. The girl’s mother … [Read more...]

Principles for Successful Motherhood, Part 7

January 18, 2012 by Guest Author 3 Comments

In this final article of this series, I want to focus on the fact that there are differences between males and females, and we need to appreciate that God designed it that way.  In other words: Sons and Daughters: Recognize Their Differences.  As we bring up our children, we need to let our boys be … [Read more...]

Take off the Training Wheels

January 16, 2012 by Guest Author 3 Comments

My middle child, Kadence, has been blessed with her mother’s grace. If you know me, you know this is not the best trait to have. I have been sliding around her request to take the training wheels off her bike for quite some time now, in an effort to avoid an ER visit. Kadence has also been blessed … [Read more...]

In Numbers 35 we read that God instructed the Israelites to designate six cities as cities of refuge.  If an individual killed someone without intending to, that person could flee to one of these cities and would be safe from those who might try to retaliate.  The manslayer would be protected from … [Read more...]

“Love” is a verb

January 9, 2012 by Erynn Sprouse 4 Comments

Last week we talked a lot about New Year’s resolutions. By this time, I’m usually falling off the bandwagon and giving up on my typically LONG list of resolutions. This year, I’m still making them! Some may say I’m just procrastinating, but I say I’m making the most of an opportunity: the … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
