Why I’m Participating in No Makeup March

March 7, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

People think I’m crazy. A teenaged girl going an entire month without a stitch of makeup? That’s ridiculous… right? This is my second year of participating in No Makeup March, and, truth be told, it even seems a little ridiculous to me sometimes. What’s the point of letting the world see every … [Read more...]

Reach Out

March 3, 2011 by Guest Author 5 Comments

A few years ago a telephone company filled the airwaves with the message “Reach out and touch someone.”  They, of course, wanted to boost long distance phone calls in order to increase their profits. The need to be wanted and needed is universal.  All of us need others to befriend us in new … [Read more...]

A Reminder

March 2, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

Whenever I am out and see a Mom with young children, I think to myself, or sometimes I have even said to her, “enjoy them, time goes by so fast.” I can remember and still hear from others from time to time how fast children will grow up.  I never have wanted it to go by too quickly because our … [Read more...]

Have You Understood All These Things?

March 1, 2011 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

In Matthew’s gospel, we learn that parables served a specific purpose in Jesus’ ministry.  Many times these parables are accurately described as earthly stories with a heavenly meaning.  While this describes what a parable is, it doesn’t tell us what a parable does. In Matthew 13, Jesus tells … [Read more...]

Co-Existing in the Church

February 28, 2011 by Guest Author 1 Comment

One night, I passed by the girls bedroom and overheard an interesting conversation between them.  They were both arguing over the value of sisters.  Kadence pleaded her case by stating, "Sisters aren't friends, they are just related!"  Without missing a beat Rylee proved her point by proclaiming … [Read more...]

The Devil is Innocent

February 24, 2011 by Erynn Sprouse 3 Comments

In the religious world today, ideas abound as to who the devil is. He goes by many names, comes in many forms and does many things. One popular country song has him as a fiddle player who gambles for souls. Halloween costumes with red horns, tails and pitchforks fill streets and costume parties when … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
