Co-Existing in the Church

February 28, 2011 by Guest Author 1 Comment

One night, I passed by the girls bedroom and overheard an interesting conversation between them.  They were both arguing over the value of sisters.  Kadence pleaded her case by stating, "Sisters aren't friends, they are just related!"  Without missing a beat Rylee proved her point by proclaiming … [Read more...]

The Devil is Innocent

February 24, 2011 by Erynn Sprouse 3 Comments

In the religious world today, ideas abound as to who the devil is. He goes by many names, comes in many forms and does many things. One popular country song has him as a fiddle player who gambles for souls. Halloween costumes with red horns, tails and pitchforks fill streets and costume parties when … [Read more...]

He Took His Life In His Hands

February 22, 2011 by Guest Author 2 Comments

For the last month or so at my congregation, we've been studying the book of 1 Samuel. I'm a little bit of a keyword fanatic-- I love finding key words and marking them in my Bible. One that's popped up everywhere is "hand." I've seen everything from "the hand of the LORD" to David simply reaching … [Read more...]

Whatever I Do

February 21, 2011 by Guest Author 6 Comments

One thing I have determined: as a Christian wife, nothing I do is meaningless. Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men;” and a very acceptable reason for this is given. You see, from a worldly standpoint a woman could go crazy with the … [Read more...]

The Hardest Scripture

February 9, 2011 by Lacy Crowell 2 Comments

If I were to ask you what the hardest Scripture in the Bible is, what would you say?  To me, that answer is very easy.  In my opinion, the hardest Scripture in the Bible is Matthew 10:37 which reads, “Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or … [Read more...]

A Dozen and One Things to Send to a Foreign Missionary

February 8, 2011 by Erynn Sprouse 6 Comments

Excerpt from “Lord Give Me Pretty Feet” by Cindy Sue Baker, page 138-39: “Packages and letters, the joy of receiving little remembrances of home, are invaluable (even if they are ‘material things’)… It doesn’t always have to be something big. Even the little tokens of home are a treat!... These … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
