Ministry Focused

October 7, 2013 by Guest Author 6 Comments

Working in ministry is a blessing. As a daughter of a minister I grew up being involved in the lives of others. Frequently, my father would take me to nursing homes to sing and pray with senior Saints or anyone who would listen. There were many trips put on hold while my Dad stopped to help people … [Read more...]

Bible Marking: The Lord’s Church (Part 3)- It’s Organization

October 2, 2013 by Kathy Pollard Leave a Comment

As we look around us, we see order, we see beauty, and we see elegance.  That's because our Creator designed it that way.  It didn't happen by accident.  As we continue our study of the Lord's church, we see that God designed her as well.  He didn't leave her to be molded and organized by men.  He … [Read more...]

Have I Then Become Your Enemy?

September 30, 2013 by Lacy Crowell 3 Comments

Over the last several years I have noticed a very interesting trend, and I wonder if you have noticed it as well? If you are visiting with someone, particularly about a spiritual topic, and they believe something is OK that you believe is wrong, what label pops into your mind? Anymore, most people … [Read more...]

September 24, 2013 by Lacy Crowell Leave a Comment

Can We Trust Our Bibles? (Part 4) Over the last several weeks we have been taking an in-depth look at the reliability of the Bibles we use. We have looked at the Bible’s internal claims of inspiration and the internal proofs that it really is inspired, we have looked at our Old Testament … [Read more...]

Scriptural S.O.S.

September 23, 2013 by Guest Author 1 Comment

There is no doubt that disfellowship is one of the hardest jobs that the Family of God has to carry out. This can be made more difficult if the fallen member is also an immediate family member. I appreciate a previous article entitled, "The Lost Son," by Kristina Odom that dealt with this delicate … [Read more...]

Chocolate Molds

September 18, 2013 by Guest Author 4 Comments

I REALLY like chocolate. I like it in any form; cake, pie, brownies, cookies, candy bar, and occasionally straight from the chocolate syrup bottle. I remember when my parents made us homemade chocolate candy. They melted the chocolate and poured it into different molds. The chocolate would then take … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
