But Freedom of Speech is My Right!

August 20, 2012 by Tami Roberts 2 Comments

As time for the election of a new president is getting closer and closer, I am reading more and more “political” statements on Facebook and elsewhere. I’m hearing statements about “my right to speak up” and “my responsibility as a Christian to stand up for what is right.” The more I hear/read, the … [Read more...]

How to Handle Troubling Times

August 15, 2012 by Lacy Crowell 3 Comments

We are living in troubling times-- times filled with uncertainty. I, for one, am very concerned for my children and what the future will hold for them. We are surrounded by fear and anger. Everywhere we turn there are heated debates on same-sex marriage, the 2nd amendment and the right to bear arms, … [Read more...]

Mary and Martha: Lessons for Your Busy Day

August 13, 2012 by Guest Author 3 Comments

A Lesson about Priorities Priorities.  The inescapable lesson of Mary and Martha is priorities. It’s not just found in the “Martha, Martha” part of their story either.  From the moment we meet them in the little house in Bethany until we see Mary selflessly pouring the spikenard on Jesus feet and … [Read more...]

In fact, they have established an entire department called the Food and Drug Administration which creates the rules that food suppliers must follow. To make sure that companies and farmers are … [Read more...]

My Home: A Fortress

August 8, 2012 by Guest Author 4 Comments

It has been about two months since our first child was born. Our lives have changed so much along with our perspective on things and as I watch my child sleep I think about a lot… God has given me the responsibility to be a helpmate to my husband and together, my husband and I are responsible to … [Read more...]

Family Walls

August 7, 2012 by Erin Wells 11 Comments

How did her life end up like this? She was having trouble making sense of it all. Today she was in court, a place she never expected to be, working out the terms of her divorce and ending 23 years of marriage. She was already struggling with her 17-year-old son who had bounced in and out of jail … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
