February 15, 2012 by Erynn Sprouse 6 Comments

“Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.” Ephesians 5:33 This verse sums up Paul’s instructions from 5:22 and on. Here the Holy Spirit, through Paul, hits on the number one need each spouse … [Read more...]

Trusting in the Lord

February 13, 2012 by Guest Author 2 Comments

At times I wonder, "Do I really trust God?" This has been on my mind quite a bit this past year because I have tried off and on to write this article but every time, I talk myself out of it. It isn’t a great topic, it’s not good enough, no one will read it, and I’m scared of who will read and what … [Read more...]

The Great Wall in Our Faith

February 8, 2012 by Guest Author 3 Comments

We use walls a lot in our world. They support structures such as our homes. They keep things out, like the Great Wall of China kept out invaders. Or they keep things in, like we use our fence (basically a wooden wall) to keep our dog in the back yard. But we also use walls to designate a boundary … [Read more...]

My husband and I have a big board in our room that has our daily priorities listed. This way we are reminded of what we need to do each day when we wake up and when we go to bed. Our list of priorities is simple: Read Bible Sing spiritual songs Pray Nevertheless, there are some days … [Read more...]

Confessions of a Working Mom

February 1, 2012 by Guest Author 11 Comments

For years, I have struggled with accepting my role as a working mom.  Since my kids were toddlers, I have worked outside the home in various positions, always looking for that magical idea that would get me back home.  Often times, in my great desire to find something that would work, these ideas … [Read more...]

Spiritual Exercise

January 30, 2012 by Guest Author 3 Comments

Have you ever had one of those "duh" moments as you were studying God's Word? I did last night at Bible reading. 1 Timothy 4:8 was mine. "For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come." I've … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
