Principles of Successful Motherhood, Part 4

December 21, 2011 by Guest Author 2 Comments

From the beginning of time God has expected families to focus on Him. We are familiar with such characters as Noah, Abraham and Job ...all righteous men who were concerned about the spiritual well-being of their families. Deuteronomy 6:7 the Jews were told to teach their children when they arose in … [Read more...]

God’s Precious Gift: Sister-Love

December 20, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

I am the youngest of three children, and the ONLY girl. Some of you probably know what that means to you, but for me, it meant survival! I learned how to get out of wresting holds early, learned how to swim by threat, and developed a habit of “hit first.” Perhaps that is not fair; they were … [Read more...]

Overcoming Fears

December 19, 2011 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

It isn’t unusual to step foot off the plane, onto foreign soil, into your new mission work, and find yourself faced with doubts or worries or fears. Stepping into the unknown has that effect, no matter how excited you are.  The reality is that it is overwhelming to buy a one-way ticket, disembark … [Read more...]

Principles of Successful Motherhood, Part 3

I feel extremely blessed to be a woman.  God created me so that I could experience the profound privilege of bringing children into this world and I am so grateful for that.  I am the mother of four children.  I cherish the nine months in which each of them grew inside me - as they developed a heart … [Read more...]

Holding On and Letting Go

Hannah’s desire to have a son must have been overwhelming. But to ask for a son who she would give completely to God was enough for her. Not a son to keep for herself, to have with her every day and to watch over, but to give to God with complete faith that He would watch over and raise him to be … [Read more...]

Testing the Spirits

December 12, 2011 by Guest Author 2 Comments

We all want to feel good about ourselves don’t we? We all want to be special, right? People just don't value us as they ought, do they? I’ve even heard people say they believe they aren't paid "what I'm worth." It is so hard to resist that admiration and perhaps that is human nature to want, to … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
