The Will of God

January 25, 2011 by Guest Author 1 Comment

The will of God is that no man be lost. Each follower is, With His Seal, embossed. This Seal marks those who Are faithful and true. Won’t you obey and Let Jesus come to you? Where is the Christian’s place, You ask, How is the Christian called to task? The will of God is that His love be … [Read more...]

Where is My Faith?

January 24, 2011 by Guest Author 2 Comments

It was a fisherman’s worst nightmare. The Sea of Galilee was notorious for being calm and serene one minute, and a deathtrap the next for unfortunate souls who happened to be out working the nets. It is hard to say which was worse, being caught by a gale while dragging the nets at night, or being … [Read more...]

Single or Taken?

January 20, 2011 by Guest Author 4 Comments

A few weeks ago, I sent out one of those question/answer e-mails. One of the many questions was this: “Are you single or taken?” Without thinking much about it, I typed “single” and went on to the next question. I would not have thought another thing about this except that a few days later I … [Read more...]

January 19, 2011 by Lacy Crowell 2 Comments

Wow! It is hard to believe that January is already half over! The “new” is quickly wearing off, and we are settling into the routines that will guide us throughout the rest of 2011. Over the last few weeks, we have been talking about making resolutions that matter. Resolutions that will guide us in … [Read more...]

Think Souls

January 18, 2011 by Erynn Sprouse 6 Comments

What does it mean to “think souls”? It means putting on your God-tinted glasses and seeing people as God does. It means looking at a cemetery and realizing that each headstone represents a soul whose eternal destiny is sealed. Christ said that most do not find the way to Heaven. Do you mourn for … [Read more...]

Immediately

January 17, 2011 by Guest Author 4 Comments

You might not know that one of the key words in the gospel of Mark is “immediately.” This seemingly unassuming adverb occurs no less than 43 times in the entire book. Adverbs play an immensely important part in the English language, and that importance can be carried into our Bible study. Where … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
