December 30, 2010 by Tami Roberts 4 Comments

Making Resolutions That Matter

December 29, 2010 by Lacy Crowell 8 Comments

It certainly didn’t take me very long this year.  It is not even New Year’s yet and I have already broken a resolution!  This year I had resolved to NOT make any resolutions. The typical, “lose weight, be a better housekeeper, get up earlier for a more productive day, etc.” have gotten kind of old … [Read more...]

A Lesson from Cain

December 27, 2010 by Guest Author 3 Comments

How does God handle our attempts to honor Him when we’re not quite sure of what He’s expecting from us? Will we be acceptable as long as we’re sincere? Let’s take a lesson from a very early example: In Genesis 4, we are introduced to a man who sought to bring to God something he personally … [Read more...]

From the Heart of an Older Woman: Motherly Advice

December 23, 2010 by Guest Author 2 Comments

Being a mother is a God-given privilege that not all women have.  Some women never marry, some choose not to have children and some earnestly pray for children but aren’t blessed with them.  God has plans for these women, too.  But for those of us who are so blessed, we have a tremendous … [Read more...]

Titus 2:3-5 reads as follows: "The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
