Can You Imagine?

March 16, 2010 by Guest Author 14 Comments

Lent makes no sense to me. Never has. I don't find Lent anywhere in the Bible; that alone is enough to tell me God doesn't require it. However, what I don't understand is the disproportionality of the whole idea. Most people who participate give up one facet of their life for a little over a month; … [Read more...]

She does him good and not evil All the days of her life. — Proverbs 31:10-12 Has anyone else wondered how on earth we even start aspiring to be … [Read more...]

Are You Discouraged?

Once upon a time it was announced that the devil was going out of business and would sell all his equipment to those who were willing to pay the price. On the day of the big sale, all his tools were attractively displayed. There was envy, jealousy, hatred, malice, deceit, sensuality, pride, … [Read more...]

God cares about every detail

God cares about every detail of your life... He collects every tear in a bottle (Psalm 56:8) ...Even the ones we shed over spilled milk, over chocolate fallen down the heater grate and shed for no reason at all. He numbers every hair on your head (Luke 12:7) ...Even the ones we pull out … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
