Introduction to Exegesis (Part 1)

May 27, 2010 by Guest Author 4 Comments

Where do I start? How do I get deeper into God’s word in order to grow? Do these questions sound familiar? Many women feel inadequate when it comes to knowing how to study God’s word. We may read God’s word daily, but do we study it? It is vital for women of God to learn how to study the Bible. We … [Read more...]

Just a Thought…

May 26, 2010 by Guest Author 9 Comments

My mind started to wander during a mandatory store meeting at David’s Bridal.  I started to think about how tired I was and how I was going to go to bed early that night.  To say the least, I was not thinking about work until the management team started to pass around pictures.  They discussed what … [Read more...]

His Perfect Will

Envisionments of you, Capture me upon this night Harsh reflections of your sufferings, The way in which you gave your life The spear which thrust into your side, The pierced and blood-stained hands The biting crown that tore your flesh, The harsh yells took their stand “Crucify him! Crucify … [Read more...]

Got Peace? (Part 2)

May 24, 2010 by Erynn Sprouse 3 Comments

As mentioned in the article “Got Peace?” the book of Philippians is the Holy Spirit’s effort (through Paul) to get the brethren at Philippi on the same page, of the same mind. That one mind is one of utter humility with others above self. The previous article discussed the background, so we won’t … [Read more...]

The Best of Intentions

May 20, 2010 by Guest Author 3 Comments

Pay what you vow. This was Solomon’s instruction to his readers. Just before this, he had instructed them to draw near to God with guarded steps and not in haste, or impulsively (Ecclesiastes 5:1-2). He had told them to approach God and listen, because the sacrifices of fools are evil and they don’t … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
