Approaching Almighty God

May 6, 2010 by Guest Author 6 Comments

Have you ever wondered what is going through God’s mind when you approach Him?  How does He perceive your worship?  In Ecclesiastes 5, the Preacher gives us some wonderfully helpful insight regarding the kind of attitude God expects when we come before Him. We know that it is our hope in Christ … [Read more...]

All the Rest

"I sure do love you, Jesus"- But only Sunday morning For the rest of the week, I've got sin to be exploring  "I sure do love you, Jesus"- But when the weather's hot I'll show off all my body, A bikini I will flaunt "I sure do love you, Jesus"- But when the liquor's good I'll have a … [Read more...]

Loving Our Children

May 4, 2010 by Guest Author 5 Comments

I am so thankful to be a mother! Aren't you? It is so wonderful to have precious little ones to love. Precious big ones, too! It is so easy to love those sweet blessings that God places in our arms. As a mother you feel that, surely, our children know how much we love them. After all, we devote our … [Read more...]

There is Nothing

May 3, 2010 by Guest Author 2 Comments

This morning as I was reading a beautiful poem by Emily Nelson, a particular song came to my mind as I read the phrase she penned, “For nothing ever matters, unless it’s done by You." The song I thought about was a secular song called, “Without Love (There is Nothing)."  It’s a song that came out in … [Read more...]

What are we about?

April 27, 2010 by Guest Author 5 Comments

Recently our daughter and niece studied for and obtained a drivers permit. For weeks the two begged the parents to quiz them.  After reading the manual myself again, because it has been too many years,  I was able to form questions that we quizzed in the car or at home. One thing that I say to all … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
