Divine Percolations: I Was an Abuser

February 19, 2014 by Guest Author 3 Comments

For years I was verbally abusive. No one knew about it. Never was I physically abusive so there were not any marks to try and hide, but I was very good at keeping secret just how cruel and intense my words could be. I couldn't blame my parents for my behavior. They were always … [Read more...]

Self-esteem or God-Esteem?

February 17, 2014 by Guest Author 1 Comment

How often have you stood in front of the mirror, disgruntled about the reflection staring back at you? I’m too short. I’m too fat. My hair isn’t straight/curly/short/long enough. My teeth aren’t pearly white. If you are like I am, it happens almost on a daily basis. It’s an ageless … [Read more...]

From the Heart of an Older Woman: I Wish

February 12, 2014 by Guest Author 6 Comments

I am a preacher’s wife. What does that mean? It means nothing more and nothing less than I am married to a man who has devoted his entire life to teaching people about God, reaching out to the lost, and helping to build up the Christians around him. Being his wife means I signed on to … [Read more...]

To Die For

February 3, 2014 by Kelli Hughett 5 Comments

Editor's Note: Last month we posted Reshaping Your Eyes and the reader response was record breaking. Not just record breaking... record smashing. Clearly, there is a need for us as women to understand where our beauty comes from and what that means in our everyday lives. To help meet this need, … [Read more...]

Whole Heart

January 27, 2014 by Guest Author 1 Comment

The word “heart” occurs 830 times in 762 verses in the KJV; different places have different counts due to different translations. But nevertheless, it is mentioned quite a lot. In Deuteronomy 4-18 alone it is mentioned 24 times, and in Psalm 119 it is used 15 times. Since what “were written … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
