Does HE Say Yes to the Dress?

April 14, 2014 by Guest Author 9 Comments

To my sister in the faith getting hitched: I am unbelievably happy for you. I can’t help but grin and squeal about things like this, but there is something I have noticed that I would like to bring to our attention. Firstly, you need to understand that 1) I want this to be helpful, and 2) … [Read more...]

From the Heart of an Older Woman: Children in Worship Services

April 11, 2014 by Karla Sparks 11 Comments

Ahh, Sundays with small children! Squishing chubby baby legs into tights. Hoping your toddlers don’t spill food on their fancy clothes. Coaxing a cowlick to lay down on your son’s head, while attempting to do keep your daughter from eating her hair bow. Getting a whole family ready all at once, … [Read more...]

Taking Stewardship of Our Health

March 31, 2014 by Guest Author 4 Comments

This month we have been talking about taking care of ourselves.  Taking care of our bodies is very important and there are many reasons to do so.  The most compelling of those reasons is that God designed and created our bodies.  As a creation of the Almighty God, they are precious in His eyes.  The … [Read more...]

Divine Percolations: The Land of Comparative Christianity

March 26, 2014 by Guest Author 3 Comments

In the last article in the series Divine Percolations, the discussion centered on internal dialogue which can be caustic and abusive and how to begin replacing that language with truthful, compassionate, God honoring verses and affirmative responses. Although many may not be that extreme, there are … [Read more...]

T.G.I.F.

March 24, 2014 by Guest Author 5 Comments

By the end of the week, a few of my girlfriends joke, “Yikes, it sure is Fried-ay!” We “keepers of the home” (Titus 2:5) have our work set out for us, don’t we? This is a blessed, but busy world for Christian women, and a week can leave us feeling a bit burnt out. Are you someone like me who feels … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
