Bible Marking: Forgiveness

July 3, 2013 by Kathy Pollard 7 Comments

New To Bible Marking? CLICK HERE Martin Luther King, Jr. said, "Forgiveness is not an occasional act; it is an attitude."  Specifically, it is the attitude of Christ (Luke 23:34). I have found that the older I get, the easier it is to forgive.  Perhaps that is because I've been forgiven of so much … [Read more...]

If Only

July 1, 2013 by Guest Author 5 Comments

Looking back on the past 20 years, there are some things that have surprised me more than others. At the top of that list are the friends who have left the church seeking after other forms of doctrine. During those young adult years, I would not have even considered that this would happen. I … [Read more...]

Shine as Stars

“Do all things without grumbling or disputing” Philippians 2:14 This is a section of scripture that steps on most everyone’s toes. “Do all things without grumbling or disputing.” It’s a favorite verse when someone’s complaints are irritating us but not so much when we’ve just spent 20 minutes … [Read more...]

The Way of an Eagle

June 24, 2013 by Guest Author 3 Comments

Our time at the Come Fill Your Cup retreat is spent in the Rocky Mountains outside of Denver. Being in nature always reminds me of Romans 1:19-20 where the Bible tells us that God has shown us His power and His very nature through the natural world. While we talk a lot about the power of God through … [Read more...]

How to Achieve Multi-Generational Faith

June 19, 2013 by Guest Author 8 Comments

At a recent holiday party, we adults played the whisper game, where one person whispers something in one person’s ear, who in turn whispers what they heard into the next person’s ear, and so on. It’s always funny to discover what the last person heard, and compare it to what was originally … [Read more...]

They’ll Know We are Christians By Our Love

If a stranger were to walk into your congregation today would they be able to see your love for one another? We are commanded many times in scripture to show fervent and active love for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Jesus even told His disciples that one of the ways people would be able to … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
