A Little Talk With God

April 15, 2013 by Guest Author 3 Comments

I don't think a value can be placed on what we choose to do with our "down time." My Mom would use her afternoons to have a little talk with God. Let me tell you more about her. My Mom was raised in a denominational religion, but when her and my Dad married, she converted to his family's … [Read more...]

A Selfless Decision

April 10, 2013 by Guest Author 3 Comments

Do you think of yourself as a selfless person? Does the thought of others and THEIR feelings come to your mind first, or does the thought of "how is this going to effect me?" I recently watched an airing of Dateline that really forced me to do some heavy introspection. I truly found this episode … [Read more...]

Why Miracles?

April 9, 2013 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

If you were Satan, and your goal was to deceive the nations, what kind of plan would you put into place? 1 Peter 5:8 tells us, "Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." If he wanted to convince people that they had … [Read more...]

Cookie Christians

April 8, 2013 by Erynn Sprouse 2 Comments

I was 17 and much more interested in having a good time than in going to Bible study. Little did I know that was about to change... all because of some cookies (okay, maybe not all because of some cookies). Every Wednesday night before Bible class, one of the deacons’ families and a couple from the … [Read more...]

Start here: Bible Marking: Crash Course (Part 1) Bible Marking: Crash Course (Part 2)   "How does your church feel about homosexuality?"  A brand new Christian asked me this question.  I'm glad she did.  A local denomination recently hung a sign in front of their … [Read more...]

My Favorite Place to Be

April 1, 2013 by Guest Author 3 Comments

I recently came across a wall hanging that said, “Together is my favorite place to be.”   As a woman striving to be a godly spouse and mother, I pray that I am cultivating a desire within my husband and children to want to spend time (both quality and quantity) together. As life goes, however, we … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
