Strength Through the Wait

November 3, 2011 by Lacy Crowell 6 Comments

The last several weeks we have been looking at how to handle the times we are in God’s waiting room (click for "Waiting Through Perpetual Prayer" and "Waiting Through Study"). We have looked at Scriptures that will help us, how prayer can help us, and how in-depth Bible study can help us in those … [Read more...]

Digging up Talents

November 2, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

I really, really like to cook. I think anyone who comes into our home, walks into our kitchen and sees our large Viking range would know that I like to cook. I like to cook for my family, for members of the Lord’s church, for just about anyone. When I learn that someone is ill, my first thought is, … [Read more...]

Waiting Through Study

October 27, 2011 by Lacy Crowell 2 Comments

Have you ever been in the unfortunate situation of trying to have a serious conversation with someone who is engrossed in the TV?  It is SO frustrating!  Why is it so frustrating?  Because you NEED that person’s feedback.  You need their response and reaction to what you are saying.  Maybe you need … [Read more...]

If it Feels Right, Do it

October 26, 2011 by Guest Author 4 Comments

I was recently told “It is the 21st century, there is no right and wrong anymore.  If it feels right, then do it.” If we venture out into the world we do not have to look far to see this phrase in action. We live in a world of constant Political Correctness. Almost every show on television promotes … [Read more...]

Glow

October 25, 2011 by Guest Author 2 Comments

I had an amazing English teacher in Jr High named Mrs. Thomason.  She always had a warm and welcoming classroom, and every Friday she would tell us as we left “Have a good weekend, and go to Church on Sunday!” Her actions and words would scream “Christian” even though she really never proclaimed … [Read more...]

Joy Even in Darkest Times

October 24, 2011 by Guest Author 6 Comments

Have you ever cried tears of joy? I remember once when Aaron was just an infant of 12 days old; it was one of the most difficult times for Jon and I as parents. Seven days earlier we had rushed our sweet little baby into the ER after a long night of calling the hospital because he refused to eat and … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
