I’ll be modest here, but not there

It’s a Good Thing…

September 12, 2011 by Guest Author 11 Comments

What comes to your mind when you hear the line "Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes" from the song, "My Favorite Things"? One that comes to my mind is that of an image of purity. A bunch of sweet little girls wearing white dresses with blue sashes. Little girls that aren't "worldly wise"; … [Read more...]

Hallelujah! What a Savior!

September 7, 2011 by Guest Author 7 Comments

Two years ago I was in the hospital with pericardial and pleural effusions, which is fluid around the heart and lungs. Last month my brother Anthony Warnes was doing a class on the Crucifixion and I learned that many scientists suggest Jesus probably suffered from these same conditions.  I was so … [Read more...]

Facebook and Modesty

Before I begin, I want you to know I have wanted to write about this for a while, but I have been hesitant to. Why? Well, I obviously am aware of how many people I may offend. This is a subject that I know several people will find offensive and want to dispute my feelings, but after much … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
