Book Review: iGrow

November 14, 2012 by Guest Author 38 Comments

After reading through the Bible in a year with my family for a few years in a row, we decided to try something different. Focus Press just came out with a daily devotional book, iGrow, which looked great, so we decided to use that for our family devotionals this year. The book is … [Read more...]

Book Review: Your Mama Don’t Dance

November 12, 2012 by Guest Author 4 Comments

When my husband and I found out we were expecting our first child we knew, being first generation Christians, we needed direction to know how to raise our child to love the Lord God with all his heart, soul, and mind. We talked to Christians whom we respected and someone recommended … [Read more...]

“You may have to move some things!”

November 5, 2012 by Guest Author 8 Comments

In my younger years, on more than one occasion, I would look for something, but to no avail. After telling my mom that I could not find it, she would shortly present it to me often with the admonition, "You may have to move some things." Now, decades later, as my son cannot find the jelly which is … [Read more...]

Let It Overflow: Thankful, So Very Thankful

November 1, 2012 by Guest Author 3 Comments

With today being the first day of November and Thanksgiving quickly approaching, I wanted to let our thankfulness overflow this month! There is nothing that will separate us from the world quite like a thankful spirit. Maybe that’s why New Testament writers command us so many times to be thankful … [Read more...]

As I Am

October 31, 2012 by Guest Author 1 Comment

While attending a weekend youth retreat recently, a faded poster in our cabin caught my attention. It simply stated, “God loves me as I am.” This is absolutely true! When considering the parent-child relationship, there is nothing a child could do or say that could make mom and dad love them any … [Read more...]

Empty Arms and a Full Heart

October 29, 2012 by Guest Author 3 Comments

I felt my body changing with pregnancy. I felt the roundness of the belly, slight at first then becoming more pronounced. I became aware that my body was gearing up to bring forth a life. Even more than being aware of my own body, was the awareness that there was a life inside of me. This incredible … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
