Rejoice and Praise God

October 3, 2012 by Guest Author 2 Comments

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light" (1 Peter 2:9). Christians are commanded to proclaim the praises of God. This is one of the "works" that … [Read more...]

Mothers In Waiting

October 1, 2012 by Guest Author 8 Comments

Mothers in waiting that is what I like to call women who long to be mothers but find that their bodies are not able to bring forth babies. Being barren is a heart wrenching pain that is beyond difficult to explain to someone who has not experienced it. The word barren is dreadful isn't it? That is … [Read more...]

What’s On Your Mind?

September 26, 2012 by Guest Author 1 Comment

“What’s on your mind?” Anyone who has updated their status on Facebook is very familiar with this question. The various answers posted on Facebook, oftentimes, are not too desirable. Yet, the question still remains “What’s on your mind?” With all the physical things on our “to do” list, it is very … [Read more...]

The Logical Choice

September 24, 2012 by Guest Author 3 Comments

If there’s one area in which we in the Lord’s church excel, it’s knowing our Bibles. Most of us can rattle off the plan of salvation, complete with book, chapter, and verse, quick enough to stop a denominational door-knocker in their tracks. When it comes to matters of doctrine, most of us tend to … [Read more...]

Destructive Assumptions

September 19, 2012 by Guest Author 4 Comments

Many times in our lives we make assumptions. We see a pot of water starting to bubble and we can assume the water is getting hot. We see an ambulance with its lights flashing and we assume it is on its way to help someone. We assume we know more about the situation than the facts presented to us by … [Read more...]

Heigh-Ho! Heigh-Ho! It’s Off to Work I Go

September 17, 2012 by Guest Author 2 Comments

I have the luxury of working outside the home only ten months of the year, so every August, when I get ready to go back to work, I like to set my mind. I like to think about the past year and how I could be better at my job and how I could be a better coworker. My goals usually include getting to … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
