Sisters in Christ

November 22, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

More often than not, my daughter and I hear how much she looks like me. In many ways, she is the younger version of myself. We are very similar. What parent doesn't like to hear that? But it isn't just in how we look. Our personalities are also similar. We joke and admit that this might not … [Read more...]

Mama’s K.I.S.S. Series

November 21, 2011 by Erynn Sprouse 3 Comments

This post is part review, part promotion and a lot of hope that you will really check the following things out. Cindy Colley has been doing a periodic theme on her site that she's calling K.I.S.S. (Kids in Service Suggestions) and it is well-worth reading, re-reading and even printing out for … [Read more...]

He Still Came

November 17, 2011 by Guest Author 10 Comments

Have you ever been in the middle of singing praises to the King only to be stopped short of the next word in the song because of an aching lump in your throat?  Have the words of the song mixed in with the beautiful harmony of your congregation moved you to tears?  This emotion always tends to run … [Read more...]

I Shall NOT Be Moved!

November 15, 2011 by Guest Author 6 Comments

“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings … [Read more...]

Fighting Sleep

November 10, 2011 by Guest Author 2 Comments

My husband can sleep anywhere.  On one family vacation he fell asleep in California and didn’t wake up until Texas.  I’ve always envied these types of people.  I’m generally the person that reads several books and actually catches the in-flight movie on a trip -  all the while looking at those … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
