2 Peter 1:20–21 (NASB95)
But know this first of all,
that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation,
for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will,
but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
Greetings! To my sister Bible class teachers!
I love Bible facts!
I’d like to share a little “gem” with you that was given to me to help with just such a thing.
I use it to help my Bible students learn a little more about each Bible book that we study from.
It’s Books of the Bible Information Cards on a ring!
Learn the different books, plus authors, how many chapters, themes, and what each book is about.
Each card has a shiny protective finish!
It’s a small card for each Bible book so it doesn’t have a ton of information, but it introduces each book in a way that the students can understand.
I have one set of little cards and use it each time before our Bible lesson.
I give it to a different student each week and ask them to find the book our lesson comes from, and then they get to read the back of the card.
We have been in the book of Acts with Paul’s missionary journeys, so each week we hear the same card read, but you know what they say about repetition! That’s how we learn!!
At the end of our quarter, they should know the information well!
The students like being chosen and it helps them to also learn which books come before others.
If your students do not read yet, you can read/tell them the information.
Like I said, I love Bible facts, and I hope this “little gem” will be something you can put to use in your Bible class!
Thanks for stopping by!
Your sister Bible teacher,
Gwen
