Bible Marking: The Lord’s Church (Part 1)- It’s Establishment

August 7, 2013 by Kathy Pollard 6 Comments

New To Bible Marking? CLICK HERE "Attend the church of your choice."  This statement was on a sign in a local grocery store.  How do we know which one to attend?  With all the conflicting messages, how do we know which one is right?  This Bible-marking topic will begin a series that will help us … [Read more...]

For Every Good Deed

August 5, 2013 by Tami Roberts 5 Comments

Sunday morning in worship, it came time for the contribution and 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 was read. “Now this I say, he who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully. Let each one do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under … [Read more...]

Ministry of the Month: Adoption

August 2, 2013 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

During my 20’s I struggled with infertility. I remember withdrawing from my friends when I found out they were expecting, feeling angry because I was unable to conceive, and feeling like my life had no purpose. I had been baptized at the age of 18 but I had very little biblical knowledge as personal … [Read more...]

Right and Difficult

July 31, 2013 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

I once asked the question why what is right and what is difficult always seem to go hand in hand. Mrs. Erynn’s response got me to thinking. She said, “It’s not a reason, but the road less traveled does have more rocky spots, more holes, more winding. But (as you well know), there’s a Savior to lean … [Read more...]

What Would I Change?

July 22, 2013 by Guest Author 3 Comments

I would guess that everyone would change past situations or events if they could only go back twenty years and press a "Replay" button. We have all had times where we spoke first and thought later! We may even hash it over and over again in our minds thinking, "If only I had said or done this." As … [Read more...]

Cliques in Christ

July 17, 2013 by Guest Author 1 Comment

Sharon calls Jessica and Amanda, but she decides not to call Emily. Emily is okay and Sharon enjoys seeing her at worship on Sunday mornings, but she is just not a part of their “group.” It sounds juvenile; reeking of high school drama and childish games, but it is not rare to find grown women who … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
