Joy in Serving in the Ministry

January 14, 2013 by Guest Author 2 Comments

How can we keep an attitude of joy while serving in the ministry? Let me suggest two simple words: "Think Souls." The Bear Valley Bible Institute has a box of pins with these words written on them that they give away at Homecoming lectures. I keep mine right beside the bathroom sink-the first place … [Read more...]

A Year of Yes

January 9, 2013 by Kristy Huntsman 17 Comments

Have you ever found yourself in a state of spiritual stagnation? A few years ago, that is exactly where I was. I was in the church building every time the doors were open and was studying scriptures daily; however, even with all of this, I felt as if I were treading water. At the same time this was … [Read more...]

Christian Joy

January 7, 2013 by Erynn Sprouse 3 Comments

Joy... it’s a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). If you add almonds, it’s a candy bar. It features prominently in my kids’ current favorite Bible class song (and, by the way, if the Devil doesn’t like it, he can sit on a tack). We talk about joy a lot, actually, but is it a fruit we have in … [Read more...]

Let It Overflow: Praying Through the Year

January 3, 2013 by Guest Author 12 Comments

I love getting cards in the mail. Something other than a bill is nice to see for everyone! I open the card to see who sent it, and when I read the name, I smile. A memory has surfaced of the last time I saw them or a time that we had spent together. And so at Christmas I do a lot of thinking of … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
