Spiritual Suicide- Things you might be doing that are causing spiritual warfare.

Corrupting yourself with company of the world
There is nothing inherently wrong with hanging out with worldly people. After all, we are told to go into the world (Matthew 28:18-20) in order to make disciples. We are commanded to work (2 Thessalonians 3:10, you will likely not be working with all Christians). But 1 Corinthians 15:33 is not just filler info. Evil company corrupts good morals
-
Comparing yourself to anything and everything but the Word.
James 1:25 says to look into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it is blessed in what he does. Proverbs 19:20 also sheds light on the value of receiving instruction.
-
Neglecting study
Proving yourself to be a diligent worker as a Christian includes studying (2 Timothy 2:15).
-
Not being involved in the Lord’s work
1 Corinthians 15:58 is a blueprint to laboring for the Lord. Being steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in His work is a recipe for success. Philippians 2:14-16 “Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.”

Praying when it only feels convenient
Psalm 3, a prayer of David in distress, along with many others, show the importance and benefit of crying out to the Lord. Psalm 46:1 gives us reasoning to pray to God. He is our help in trouble.
Sisters, take all of these things and remember the contrary. Fill your life with like-minded people (Proverbs 27:17, Philippians 1:27), look to the Word for standard and guidance (John 6:68-69, Psalm 119:24), study/read daily (sometimes we often forget to read and soak in the word of God rather than completely dissect it, it is okay to do both! Psalm 119:11,15-16), get involved with the work of a Christian (James 1:27, Ephesians 4:20-24), and pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
