Barely There

February 1, 2016 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

During the end of last October, I was at my grandparent’s house visiting. The newspaper came (as usual) and I was sitting next to my grandmother as she read it. When she got to the section that is considered the “faith” section, I saw an advertisement for a wedding dress. Weddings are usually held … [Read more...]

January 27, 2016 by Karla Sparks 1 Comment

So here I am, walking through life, growing up, getting married, becoming a mother, soon becoming a mother in law, when out of the blue Kristy Huntsman comes along and BAM, I’m editor of a new feature, “From The Heart Of An Older Woman”. When did “older” happen??!!!  Surely not me! Why, on … [Read more...]

I want to Be Like Martha-And That’s Okay

January 25, 2016 by Marissa Teske 2 Comments

Many Biblical characters are remembered negatively: Lot, Aaron, Judas, and Jezebel just to name a few. There is one particular character in the New Testament who gets a lot of undue heat, however, and her name was Martha. Jesus had many good friends while He lived on the earth, many of whom He … [Read more...]

How I Met My Counselor

January 21, 2016 by Kelli Hughett 1 Comment

A little more than a year ago, my marriage was an emotional train wreck. In two years, I had a bad car wreck followed by two spinal fusions, we moved twice, lived in a two bedroom apartment with 3 kids, built a house, and I released my first fiction novel. We didn’t mean to neglect each other. We … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
