The Master Illusionist

October 6, 2014 by Guest Author 5 Comments

"Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?" - Galatians 5:7 Last year, I saw an illusionist perform. During the performance, he kept saying, “Try to see past the illusion. Try not to be deceived.” As I sat and watched the show, I found it quite hard not to be deceived … [Read more...]

Divine Percolations: Just Who’s In Control?

September 24, 2014 by Guest Author 5 Comments

It was a white rabbit. A stuffed white rabbit, a puppet, actually. She carried it with her everywhere. But something had to be done about it. It had to be wrapped up in a blanket in a very particular kind of way. This very little person in large irritation would come to us with both in hand wanting … [Read more...]

Poor in Spirit

September 22, 2014 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."  Matthew 5:3 I cannot tell you how many times I've read over this passage and thought to myself, "Ok, be like poor folk, do without, make sacrifices." and then carried on about my business.  This was however, before I really dug … [Read more...]

We hadn’t lived there very long when I began to play with the boy who lived next … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
