Four Easy Steps to be a Proverbs 31 Woman

May 29, 2013 by Guest Author 4 Comments

Oh the infamous Proverbs 31 passage. For years I would gaze upon the text and feel worn out just thinking about this woman and feel defeated before I even began to imitate her! Sound familiar? As I read all of the tasks and duties she completed each day, I began to focus my attention on the … [Read more...]

A Woman who Fears the Lord

May 27, 2013 by Lacy Crowell 1 Comment

It was the second greatest day of my life. I will never forget the way I felt as I waited to walk down the aisle towards the love of my life. I was excited, nervous, and confident we were destined for a life of seamlessly perfect wedded bliss. I was determined to be June Cleaver reincarnated. It … [Read more...]

Beside the Still Waters

May 22, 2013 by Guest Author 4 Comments

Last week as I read Psalm 23, I realized just how far from the “still waters” I had gotten. I had allowed myself to become very stressed and discouraged because of health issues my husband has been experiencing for several weeks. As a result, my endurance and peace were shrinking, and I understood … [Read more...]

I Want to Be a Worker for the Lord

May 20, 2013 by Guest Author 2 Comments

Proverbs 31:17-23 Being a woman is easy; it’s decided before you are even born, and you don’t have much say in it. Being a Christian woman is work, hard work. If there is one thing that I learned doing this study of Proverbs 31, it is that the Proverbs 31 Woman is a hard worker. She is focused, … [Read more...]

To Stir or Squelch: How to Avoid the Temptation of Gossip

May 15, 2013 by Guest Author 2 Comments

“Can you believe she…”  “Why would anybody…”  “Bless her heart, what was she thinking…” We’ve all been on the receiving end of comments like these, and likely the giving end as well, if we are honest with ourselves. Statements like these, filled with criticism and contempt, are often the sparks that … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
