Psalm 107

February 25, 2021 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

“Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.   Some wandered in desert … [Read more...]

Perk Up Kids’ Bible Class with Shapes

February 24, 2021 by Kathy Petrillo Leave a Comment

Children have vivid imaginations. Anything within their reach can easily and quickly become "something else". In this visual aid, shapes become the characters involved in a very dramatic, but child friendly, event.   The story is an application about intolerance or prejudice. It may be … [Read more...]

For the past several years we have posted a daily Bible reading plan each Monday of the year. This year we are doing something special! Our dear friend, Carla Moore, has begun another fabulous Scripture Writing Challenge and this year it covers the book of Acts. We know that there are so many good … [Read more...]

Illuminations: Psalm 46

February 18, 2021 by Erynn Sprouse Leave a Comment

Illuminations is a feature which attempts to put images with scripture. Images which help to explain the scriptures, and help those of us who are visual learners more easily write— or draw— the word of God on our hearts. These aren’t great works of art, and they aren’t really meant to be. They’re … [Read more...]

When the Manger Gets Messy

February 16, 2021 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

In Proverbs 14:4, Solomon writes, “Where no oxen are, the manger is clean, but much revenue comes by the strength of the ox.” While perhaps he is simply giving advice about livestock, I tend to think Solomon is talking more about our relationships with other people than our barnyards. Let’s face … [Read more...]

Come Out and Be Separate

February 15, 2021 by Kayla Barker Leave a Comment

The world rushes on about us,  Its cares and trials weigh heavily;  Our vision blurred, our minds awhirl - Meanwhile, God says, “Come out, and be separate.”   We long to uphold good in this world, Yet unbelief still persists. To us who hold our faith in Him, Gently, God … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
