Mary Rose and Me: Telling the Truth

April 8, 2015 by Gwen Schnell 6 Comments

Therefore, laying aside falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.  (Ephesians 4:25-26, NASU) Happy to be back in her Bible class, Mary Rose added a bright sticker to her chart for bringing her Bible! Everyone who brought their Bible got to add a … [Read more...]

Mary and Martha: Lessons for Your Busy Day

April 6, 2015 by Guest Author 1 Comment

A Lesson about Priorities Priorities.  The inescapable lesson of Mary and Martha is priorities. It’s not just found in the “Martha, Martha” part of their story either.  From the moment we meet them in the little house in Bethany until we see Mary selflessly pouring the spikenard on Jesus feet and … [Read more...]

Lessons From Barn Swallows

April 2, 2015 by Guest Author 2 Comments

Spring is in the air! The trees are budding, flowers are blooming, and the birds are singing. It is a time of renewal, and at our house, spring is signaled by the return of our barn swallows. For the past several years, a couple of barn swallows have made their nest on our front porch. Each … [Read more...]

The smell comes from the same bacteria that's responsible for body odor and smelly feet. One day a man was taking a nap. His mischievous young grandson decided to smear … [Read more...]

God’s Gift of Friends

Friendships are a gift of love from our Heavenly Father above. I truly cherish the friendships God has blessed me with!  I am thankful for every unique individual that God has brought into my life. Urgent

March 25, 2015 by Guest Author 13 Comments

We live in a very fast paced world. We can get an oil change in 15 minutes. We can get pizza delivered to our door in 30 minutes. We can get everything we want shipped the next day, even the kitchen sink. We can pump our gas from the "fastest pumps in town". We like express lanes, speedy … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
