Jonah Days

October 15, 2012 by Guest Author 1 Comment

One of my favorite books of all time is Anne of Green Gables (and Anne of Avonlea). I connected with Anne so much as a pre-teen, and it never really went away. One of the ways I related was her knack for getting into “scrapes” and not having a clue what to do about it other than to say, “Tomorrow’s … [Read more...]

It All Starts With Study

October 10, 2012 by Guest Author 1 Comment

We grow up learning about Adam and Eve, and Noah. Ask any child who attends Bible Class every week who they are or tell me the story of _____ and they can tell you. As we grow up, we learn and study some more about these people in the Old Testament. We learn lots of new things about their lives, … [Read more...]

A Lesson on Fingernails

October 8, 2012 by Guest Author 6 Comments

So I filed my nails square today. Yes, square. Did you hear me? SQUARE! Okay, perhaps this is not noteworthy... even for Facebook... but the thing is, I used to detest square nails. Whenever they first came to fashion (years ago) I was shocked at what ladies would do to their once naturally … [Read more...]

Rejoice and Praise God

October 3, 2012 by Guest Author 2 Comments

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light" (1 Peter 2:9). Christians are commanded to proclaim the praises of God. This is one of the "works" that … [Read more...]

Mothers In Waiting

October 1, 2012 by Guest Author 8 Comments

Mothers in waiting that is what I like to call women who long to be mothers but find that their bodies are not able to bring forth babies. Being barren is a heart wrenching pain that is beyond difficult to explain to someone who has not experienced it. The word barren is dreadful isn't it? That is … [Read more...]

What’s On Your Mind?

September 26, 2012 by Guest Author 1 Comment

“What’s on your mind?” Anyone who has updated their status on Facebook is very familiar with this question. The various answers posted on Facebook, oftentimes, are not too desirable. Yet, the question still remains “What’s on your mind?” With all the physical things on our “to do” list, it is very … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
