Where do we get our solutions?

March 28, 2010 by Guest Author 7 Comments

As a Christian, I have become accustomed to living in a Godly home, doing Godly activities, striving for Godly things, being around Godly people…you get the picture. I am blessed to have a wonderful life! But it has not always been this way. Paul was talking about me when he said in 1 Corinthians … [Read more...]

And We Run

March 25, 2010 by Erynn Sprouse 3 Comments

Like many Bible-loving Christians, I have lots of favorite passages of scripture, depending on the need of the moment. A favorite passage to help explain the gospel, a favorite to express the need for diligent study, etc. Just as a doctor has a whole bag of tricks, tools and medicines to help what … [Read more...]

Amazing Grace! How Sweet the Sound…

March 23, 2010 by Guest Author 3 Comments

When we study the Holy Scriptures, we see that grace was a much sought after quality. Many wished for others to be blessed with it. We pray for grace to abound; for God’s grace to be upon us, and for us to grow in grace. Grace was prayed for right along with peace, patience, and goodwill. Why is … [Read more...]

Why did we choose homeschooling?

March 22, 2010 by Guest Author 11 Comments

What is the purpose of education? What is the purpose of school? What is your philosophy of education? In other words, why do we "do school"? Why do we send our children to school? What is the reason for our education system? Most of the time, we never think about this; like much of our lives … [Read more...]

-ing Words

March 18, 2010 by Erynn Sprouse 10 Comments

Sometimes when we see a command in the Bible, we think to ourselves, "Well, that's great and all, but how do I do that?" If we're letting the Bible interpret the Bible rather than man, we look for the answers within God's word. Frequently, the "how to" of a command is found in the same context if we … [Read more...]

Exceeds Expectations

March 17, 2010 by Guest Author 9 Comments

It has happened to many Moms and it happened to me this morning. Busy in another room, my son came to me and said, “I’m drawing Mommy.” Right away my mind begins to race. What pen, marker or crayon did I leave out that he got his hands on? What could he have possibly drawn on…the walls, the dresser, … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
