Let It Overflow: After the Storm

April 25, 2013 by Guest Author 4 Comments

As the old saying goes, “April showers bring May flowers.” It has definitely “showered” around our house during the month of April. Weeks of sickness, vehicles that quit working, even a blown up vacuum cleaner fan have all hit our home this month. I’m sure you’ve got your own list of casualties for … [Read more...]

The World “Gets It”

April 24, 2013 by Guest Author 5 Comments

I’ve thought a lot lately about how there are some things that seem obvious to people of the world, but somehow elude people of the Kingdom (or at least we sometimes act as if they do). If you listen to the radio, it won’t be long until you hear a song about a man buying a woman a drink to weaken … [Read more...]

Book Review: The Drama of Redemption

April 22, 2013 by Guest Author 34 Comments

Editor's Note: Check out The Drama of Redemption Facebook page (click here) Many years ago I was asked to be an assistant to the teacher of the Wednesday night 4th grade Bible class. That was when I met Sarah Fallis. I was blown away by the depth of the material she was teaching … [Read more...]

Miracles Today?

April 16, 2013 by Guest Author 2 Comments

My previous article dealt with why I believe God used miracles in New Testament times. Now I would like to address the thought of miracles still happening today. We already discussed that Jesus was preparing His disciples for what would happen to Him. Matthew 26:2 tells us of His words to them, … [Read more...]

A Little Talk With God

April 15, 2013 by Guest Author 3 Comments

I don't think a value can be placed on what we choose to do with our "down time." My Mom would use her afternoons to have a little talk with God. Let me tell you more about her. My Mom was raised in a denominational religion, but when her and my Dad married, she converted to his family's … [Read more...]

A Selfless Decision

April 10, 2013 by Guest Author 3 Comments

Do you think of yourself as a selfless person? Does the thought of others and THEIR feelings come to your mind first, or does the thought of "how is this going to effect me?" I recently watched an airing of Dateline that really forced me to do some heavy introspection. I truly found this episode … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
