Modesty Examined: The Beauty of Sarah

June 18, 2012 by Erynn Sprouse 7 Comments

When we talk about modesty-- assuming we’re not lamenting the lack of modesty in society at large-- we’re usually doing one of two things: talking about how immodesty causes our brothers to stumble, or how to be modest yet fashionable. While these are worthwhile discussions, it seems we often … [Read more...]

Accepting God’s Promises

June 13, 2012 by Guest Author 4 Comments

God makes many promises in the Bible, and the ones particularly pertaining to His children are the ones that we sometimes have trouble accepting! Why is that? Simply put, we are to trust the Lord and obey Him. In return, we can know that He will accomplish everything He told us He would … [Read more...]

Love Thy Sister

June 11, 2012 by Guest Author 2 Comments

One of the greatest joys I have as a mother is watching my children getting along. When they share their toys without hesitation, give each other a hug without being told, or snuggle up to one another, my heart swells with pride. But, some of the greatest frustrations I have are watching my children … [Read more...]

Am I Really A Good Steward Of My Body?

June 7, 2012 by Guest Author 8 Comments

We think about being good stewards of our money, of the land, our homes, even our children, but what about our bodies? Oh yes, you may be thinking, “I am a good steward of my body...I keep my body pure from sexual immorality and I dress modestly.” But are you being a good steward of your body with … [Read more...]

Financial Management God’s Way

June 6, 2012 by Guest Author 3 Comments

As a young girl there was something about winning a trophy or being recognized as achieving something that made all the hard work worth it. It still holds true with me today, but my achievements don’t always look the same. While I still aim for trophies in the extracurricular activities in my life, … [Read more...]

Teaching our Children Stewardship

June 5, 2012 by Guest Author 6 Comments

My children worked really hard that day. At the ages of ten, six, and four, they put in a good day’s work that would match any adult. They had a mission, and were driven to perform the tasks they were asked to so they could buy those very special toys. I asked dear friends from our congregation if … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
