I Shall NOT Be Moved!

November 15, 2011 by Guest Author 6 Comments

“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings … [Read more...]

Fighting Sleep

November 10, 2011 by Guest Author 2 Comments

My husband can sleep anywhere.  On one family vacation he fell asleep in California and didn’t wake up until Texas.  I’ve always envied these types of people.  I’m generally the person that reads several books and actually catches the in-flight movie on a trip -  all the while looking at those … [Read more...]

So, Do You Want to Be a Successful Mom?

November 9, 2011 by Guest Author 7 Comments

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the phrase "a successful mom"? Some might think they will be successful if their children are well-educated and have a successful career.  Others may view themselves as successful if they have been able to provide an abundance of … [Read more...]

The Price of Freedom

November 8, 2011 by Guest Author 4 Comments

Some of my earliest memories are about worship. We left our home in Oklahoma City when I was four years old and moved to a middle-eastern country, Tehran, Iran. Christianity was not recognized as a legitimate religious group in Tehran when we arrived in 1968. However, I don’t remember there being a … [Read more...]

Strength Through the Wait

November 3, 2011 by Lacy Crowell 6 Comments

The last several weeks we have been looking at how to handle the times we are in God’s waiting room (click for "Waiting Through Perpetual Prayer" and "Waiting Through Study"). We have looked at Scriptures that will help us, how prayer can help us, and how in-depth Bible study can help us in those … [Read more...]

Digging up Talents

November 2, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

I really, really like to cook. I think anyone who comes into our home, walks into our kitchen and sees our large Viking range would know that I like to cook. I like to cook for my family, for members of the Lord’s church, for just about anyone. When I learn that someone is ill, my first thought is, … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
