Those That Wait on the Lord

October 13, 2011 by Lacy Crowell 7 Comments

Or that we spend about 121.3 hours per year waiting in lines at doctors’ offices, at the grocery check out, etc?  That equates to 120 days waiting at red lights in the average lifetime, and 404 days waiting in … [Read more...]

What Happens When We Assume?

October 12, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

I wonder how many friendships are ended because of it, how many marriages are dissolved, how many churches have split over it, or the families destroyed because it has found a home there. The name of this destroyer is assumption. We’ve all been guilty of it and will be again. Webster’s Dictionary … [Read more...]

Am I Cut Out For This?

October 11, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

I remember coming home from the first date I had with Britton and thinking that I was going to marry him someday because over dinner, he said he was interested in foreign mission work. It was at that moment I decided we needed to be together. Five years later and married, Britton and I still talk … [Read more...]

Baptism Obsession

October 10, 2011 by Guest Author 5 Comments

“Is your church obsessed with baptism? Why are all the baptism verses in your bible underlined?” I studied with Alexandria three times when she asked me these questions. She did not understand why we spend so much time and effort teaching about baptism while other churches seemed to just brush over … [Read more...]

The Proverbs 31 Woman: Part 2

October 6, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

We have already learned (from Part 1) that this godly woman we learn about in Proverbs is a good wife, she is a hard worker, she has a generous heart and she uses her talents to help her family and serve God. It can already feel overwhelming to fit into her shoes, and we still have more! But with … [Read more...]

Friendship with our Savior

October 5, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

How did you become friends with your best friend? How did your friendship start? What is it about her that makes her your best friend? How do you maintain it? First of course, you must meet your friend. Then, I think friendship stems from a mutual desire to become friends and get to know each … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
