God’s Release Valve

April 11, 2011 by Erynn Sprouse 3 Comments

Editor's note: This was originally published in the November 2010 issue of KatharosNow, a high quality monthly online magazine for teen girls. Teen or not, though, read on; there's something there for all of us. Ahh… life as a Christian teen. To party or not to party? To date him or not to date … [Read more...]

With God, I Have Meaning

April 7, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

“Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless. What do people gain from all their labors at which they toil under the sun?  Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.” -Ecclesiastes 1:2-4 Such a passage is a cynical start on … [Read more...]

God is Worthy of Praise

April 5, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

When you come to the end of the day, and you bow your head to pray, You thank the Lord for his watch and care, and for the goodness He did share. You know that it was He who stood by your side, when the waves of life were at high tide. You thank Him and praise his name, you know without him … [Read more...]

How to Turn Immodest Modest

April 4, 2011 by Guest Author 23 Comments

As women, it seems as if we have very limited choices when it comes to the fashion world these days.  Every season, the newest and brightest designs come gracefully walking into our favorite stores, enticing us to buy.  The problem is, many of these styles are plagued with immodesty because of the … [Read more...]

Character Development

March 31, 2011 by Guest Author 3 Comments

I love the game of basketball, there's something therapeutic about running up and down the court, battling for position, defending the lane from penetration, blocking a shot, earning a few fouls, throwing a couple elbows (did I say that?), hearing the sswwiisshhhh of the ball breezing through the … [Read more...]

To Spank

March 29, 2011 by Guest Author 8 Comments

To spank, or not to spank.  Why is it even questioned? Oh the joy of having someone tell you that your parenting skills are controversial. It has been a challenge for me, some days I was able to gracefully handle the concern, and other times, I just walked away without a word, fearing the angry … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
