Homemaking for God

October 6, 2010 by Guest Author 7 Comments

There was a time in history that managing a home was considered a worthy occupation.  It was important for a mother to teach her daughter(s) the skills of running an efficient and happy household.  Today if your daughter desires to be a homemaker, the world has to offer their biased and unsolicited … [Read more...]

The Hour

October 5, 2010 by Erynn Sprouse 3 Comments

"Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray." Luke 5:16 Spend one minute each on the following 12 areas of prayer, and you will have prayed for 12 minutes. Spend two minutes on each and you will have prayed for almost half an hour. Spending five minutes on each area will … [Read more...]

Embracing the Role of Helper

October 4, 2010 by Guest Author 1 Comment

When you think of a strong, powerful, worthy woman, what do you think of? In the beginning God created man. But God saw that man was lacking something... someone. God then created woman from man, and thus began a beautiful love story that has continued through generations until now. God knew that … [Read more...]

Posessed by Our Posessions

September 27, 2010 by Guest Author 5 Comments

Moving! What a chore!  And so much stuff!  After 14 years of remodeling and upgrading our house in the suburbs and thinking we would never move again, we did it.  We had turned our house into a virtual bed and breakfast and used it as a tool in our hospitality ministry.  When the reality of moving … [Read more...]

Worthless to Work of Art

September 23, 2010 by Guest Author 1 Comment

Whether you're into art or not, I dare say you've heard of Michelangelo. Many people know him for painting the magnificent ceiling at the Sistine Chapel; however, the great artist often preferred sculpture to painting. The David, the Moses, and several of Michelangelo's other sculptures are today … [Read more...]

Trading Bibles

September 22, 2010 by Kristy Huntsman 2 Comments

Today, as I packed my daughter’s diaper bag for church, I traded Bibles.  I took her little pink Bible out of the bag and placed her little white Bible in the bag.  I do this every few weeks so she doesn’t use one of her Bibles more than the other.  You see, they were each gifts from her … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
