The Best Advice

December 1, 2016 by Lori Waugh Leave a Comment

We had been married six years before having our first child.  We didn’t really talk about “when” we would have children before we married, we both just knew we wanted four children.  In fact, that’s when I knew my boyfriend at the time was my future husband - well, that and other important factors, … [Read more...]

One of the great pep-talks in scripture to encourage us to be actively serving in the kingdom is found in I Corinthians 15:58. “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” Go back and read … [Read more...]

Our Great Commission

November 28, 2016 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

Imagine that today is your last day to live on this earth. What would you tell your loved ones? What would you say to your friends and family before you left them behind? It’s safe to assume that most everyone would say the most important thing on their mind, and maybe even offer words of comfort to … [Read more...]

Bitter or Better (You Decide)

Do you have times when you feel that your faith is being tested? It seems lately that a lot of people are in need of prayer, maybe because we can all be connected by the internet in a moment’s notice, and prayer chains are started that span the world! The Lord is My Portion: Part 2

November 21, 2016 by Kayla Barker Leave a Comment

Last time, we conducted a word study on the word “portion” and its usage in the Old Testament. We gained a better understanding of the phrase, “the Lord is my portion”, and observed different ways in which the Lord was David’s, the Levites’, and the Israelites’ portion. But what can this idea mean … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
