A Cure for Puffy Eyes

May 3, 2016 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

Millions of dollars are poured into the cosmetic industry each year for creams, concealers, and serums. Each promises to remove the appearance of our lines, wrinkles, and of course, puffy eyes. Perhaps it’s a futile attempt to reduce our eye puffiness, physically, but spiritually when my eyes are … [Read more...]

Prayer and the Millenial Girl: Praying and Repenting

May 2, 2016 by Sarah Smith Leave a Comment

Next in our study of prayer, let’s stop and look at David. There are a lot of different aspects of King David that we could study – he is such a deeply human, with flaws and sins – and yet, it is said of him that he was “a man after God’s own heart” (Acts 13:22 ESV). That is extremely high praise, … [Read more...]

Domestic Engineer

April 28, 2016 by Guest Author 1 Comment

A while back my husband and I were sitting across the desk from a car salesman. We were filling out paperwork for my daughter's car. The man was asking the questions and came to the question about our employment. He asked my husband and wrote down minister. He asked me and I said I'm just a … [Read more...]

Dear Young Mom, Don’t Expect Sunday to Fill Your Cup

April 26, 2016 by Guest Author 5 Comments

Today was Sunday, a day I have often thought of as the high point of my week – a day to refuel myself and refill my empty cup, allowing me to focus my mind and start off my week with God at the forefront of my mind. But like just about every Sunday of late, it felt like it did little of the … [Read more...]

Mary Rose and Me “Walking, Walking, Walking”

April 13, 2016 by Gwen Schnell Leave a Comment

Deuteronomy 29:5 Your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandal has not worn out on your foot.  The warm sand felt good between her toes. Climbing up steep dunes and down the other side was an adventure! Going up was a lot of work and Mary Rose needed a bit of help to keep up. Going down … [Read more...]

Bible Marking: The Reality of Hell

April 13, 2016 by Kathy Pollard Leave a Comment

According to the Pew Research Center’s 2014 Religious Landscape Study, 72% of Americans believe in heaven while only 58% believe in hell. Some have a hard time believing that a loving God would send anyone to a place of eternal torment. But the same Source that tells us about God’s love … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
