Let It Overflow: Serving Through Food

May 18, 2016 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

Throughout our lives, we are given many opportunities to serve others. These opportunities for serving present themselves in a variety of ways: some obvious, some not so much. We may have the chance to drive someone to a doctor’s appointment, or someone may ask us to babysit while they go for a job … [Read more...]

Bible Marking: What Baptism Does

May 9, 2016 by Kathy Pollard 7 Comments

The Bible has much to say about baptism and what it does. It’s exciting to read about what God does for us through the simple act of immersion! As we study through this together, we’ll see that not one of them is insignificant. When using this topic for teaching purposes, remember to take time to … [Read more...]

A Home of Peace and Rest

The sun is setting and you are snuggled on the couch with your family. You are reading from the Bible and sipping hot chocolate as the fire flickers and bounces shadows on the wall. It’s been a hectic day but a fulfilling one. You have accomplished most of what you wanted for the day, so now it's … [Read more...]

A Cure for Puffy Eyes

May 3, 2016 by Guest Author Leave a Comment

Millions of dollars are poured into the cosmetic industry each year for creams, concealers, and serums. Each promises to remove the appearance of our lines, wrinkles, and of course, puffy eyes. Perhaps it’s a futile attempt to reduce our eye puffiness, physically, but spiritually when my eyes are … [Read more...]

Prayer and the Millenial Girl: Praying and Repenting

May 2, 2016 by Sarah Smith Leave a Comment

Next in our study of prayer, let’s stop and look at David. There are a lot of different aspects of King David that we could study – he is such a deeply human, with flaws and sins – and yet, it is said of him that he was “a man after God’s own heart” (Acts 13:22 ESV). That is extremely high praise, … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
