Ten Thousand Angels

February 4, 2013 by Guest Author 8 Comments

I will never forget the first time I heard my favorite hymn. My husband and I were new students to the Bear Valley Bible Institute, and the congregation there in Denver, where we had moved with our three children ages 4, 2, and 3 months. One morning during the assembly, before the men began serving … [Read more...]

I Want to Be Like…

January 30, 2013 by Guest Author 2 Comments

‘’I wanna be like Mike’’ is perhaps one of the most memorable marketing slogans of all time. It draws upon the world’s adoration of sports icons, as much of our advertising does today. As a people, we are constantly observing and comparing ourselves to others, whether for good or bad. When we see … [Read more...]

Joy in the Home

January 28, 2013 by Carla Moore 7 Comments

I hate to say it, but somewhere in our past, haven’t we all known a “killjoy”? Aren’t there women we’ve come across in our lives who manage to dry up every speck of happiness in their circle of influence? Let’s just get this ugly part out of the way first, because we can learn just as much from a … [Read more...]

Never Give Up!

January 23, 2013 by Guest Author 2 Comments

The Word of God is so powerful! It touches anyone willing to seek and it guides each individual differently depending on where they are in their life. Have you ever read a passage over and over and one day it speaks to you so clearly, like never before? As I read the passage in Matthew about the … [Read more...]

The Importance of Joy

January 21, 2013 by Guest Author 3 Comments

When the book of Philippians was introduced to me, I heard of the history of Paul's struggles to bring this congregation into being. Paul had cast a demon out of a slave girl who had been bringing in money for divination. When her masters learned she would no longer bring them money in this way, … [Read more...]

Reclaiming Your Joy

January 16, 2013 by Guest Author 4 Comments

She had just drifted off to sleep, when shortly past midnight the ringing phone jarred her awake. There had been a terrible accident. The other driver had been drinking… She glanced through the window and saw the black car slowing down to a full stop in front of the house. That sickening feeling … [Read more...]

Welcome to Come Fill Your Cup!

CFYC About Image Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by. Come Fill Your Cup is a group of Christian ladies dedicated to equipping women for study and service. We know you are busy and that life’s hectic pace pulls you in so many directions, but you can’t truly be the woman God desires unless you take time to fill your own cup…not with spa days (though we love a good spa!) or the latest novel…but with God’s Holy Word. We want to help you with that! Our goal is to reach you in the midst of your busy day and give you encouragement, education, and fellowship as you strive to live the life God has laid before you. Our prayer is that we can help fill your cup so that you, in turn, can overflow to all those around you. So, as we like to say…come fill your cup, and let it overflow!
